|
| 1. | And lo! It came to pass, As the Blessed One rode by atop His Blessed Ass, |
| 2. | That young Eural watched in awe, rose up, ran out, to see what could be saw. |
| 3. | Without a thought or shoes on tender meat, She stubbed her toe upon that donkey's gift to the dusty street. |
| 4. | A priest strode up, flopped down and kissed her on her feet. |
| 5. | "What the fuck is going on?" she brayed! |
| 6. | "It's Holy Shit!" the priest replied and bowed his head and prayed. |
| 7. | "It looks like shit..." |
| 8. | "It smells like shit..." |
| 9. | "How can you tell it's holy?" |
| 10. | "The fact it fell from the Lord's vessel... is the basis of this solely." |
| 11. | Eural, she felt a nameless rage begin that set her questioning head into a spin. |
| 12. | So great to her was this disturb, she sought safe refuge at the curb. |
| 13. | "What? Why? How? When?... Will I understand?" |
| 14. | 'Twas then that He, most revered in all the land, with subtle gesture of His sacred hand, |
| 15. | Stopped the parade, and just by chance, beheld pissed-off Eural within His glance. |
| 16. | "Who has that enigmatic sole upon yon walk?" |
| 17. | And from this day of that mystery it's all of which we talk. |
| 18. | He took dismount, the crowd fell still, "Verily" He said "I am, gonna take care of that poor girl's aromatic toe jam." |
| 19. | He did approach, untied His cincture, and with it wiped away her odd befuddled seizure. |
| 20. | And Lo! as the tended ache began to go, a dazzling light from her toe began to glow. |
| 21. | He bent and spoke so low, so Eural, from now on, only she would know. |
| 22. | "Holy shit or stinking shit, it's all in our perception. |
| 23. | One's course in life is keeled so oft by buying into some other jerk's deception. |
